Cpw Chequeback Claim Need Advise
Hi All,
I sent my 1st chq claim on 22/07 and got confirmed by txt they received on 31/07.
I have been chasing them last couple of week re this chq , every time they told me a different story, When I rang them last week , they said chq will be sent that week, today's one is the chq probably have lost in the post because they sent the cheque on 15/08, now I have to wait for another 60days for a new cheque to be issued.
Is there anything else I can do to speed this process. cheers.

Write a letter to them to send your cheque (£sum) within 7 days or you will take legal action. Not your problem if the cheque is lost, unlikely as may be ploy to delay issuing.0

Good luck to you. I wrote to four directors of the carphone warehouse all marked personal and confidential over two weeks ago nearing three now and I have not had a confirmation or anything from them. Shows how much they really value the customer.0 -
Just to let you know that they have changed their cashback address recently - don't know when, sorry. The new address is in Dubstable - check their website.
I sent them 4 requests and no problem at all - got cheques under a month from sending them the bills.0 -
Hi all,
I 've got replied from my email, usual apologies...., the good news is the replacement chq should be with me in 14 days.

I've been told exactly the same thing today.
Any chance you could let me know exactly what you did, what you wrote etc and I will do the same

I had a text about 4 days later saying it had been received, then another one about a week later telling me my claim had been successfull and I should receive my cheque within 14 days. I went on holiday for 2 weeks just after the last text and the cheque was there on my return.
Perhaps I was just lucky but I had no problem at all.0
