Travelodge Hotel Sale in London?

  • What a shame that the website is so busy - and more of a shame that, after all of that drama of getting two hours sleep (I was having a bit of an all-nighter, final year of PhD and all that :( ) that the rooms in central London for my boyfriend's birthday on a Thursday night in the middle of November are still in the ninety pound bracket!

I did have a scout around, and Christmas Day is cheap... erm, useful, lol! New Years Eve is ridiculously expensive! Hope that others have had more luck than me in finding a hotel room. At least it woke me up! Back to writing then...

    Nothing for me either :'(

Wanted somewhere in central London for Nov 26th but the cheapest is City Road at 55GBP. Hmmmm...slightly disappointing. Good news is I didnt have to wake up early, its 1pm where I am now :)

Oxford Street lights turned on on 4th November
Regent Street lights turned on on 9th November
Trafalgar Square tree lighting on 2nd December
Winter Wonderland opens on 14th November

These are from memory, but I always put these in my diary in October, as there's nothing nicer than wrapping up in the cold, going to sing some Christmas carols, and then ducking into a nice warm bar or cafe for a Baileys or a hot chocolate!

  • Managed to get three nights in Feburary at Marylebone for £25 per night.

Haven't had any e-mail confirmation of the booking yet. The booking is confirmed in "My Travelodge" but has anyone else not got an e-mail confirmation from booking this morning?

You do get redirected if you do a search with no results for the cheap rooms. Sometimes it pays to rephrase the online search...

Clearly you have never had a travelodge breakfast :rotfl:

I have stayed at plenty of Travel lodges and had the breakfast and have always found them to be pretty good. Why wouldn't they fill me up - after all they are buffet breakfasts!?

The buffet at Waterloo was excellent (apart from the orange juice being orange coloured water!) and as its eat as much as you like (and people were!) Ive no doubt it will keep you going :)
