belkin - WIRELESS PROBLEM

i have a laptop contect to router , wireless.
its 54g and signal is between 50-75%

but cant access internet as no conection , what do i have to do?
im with ntl
and on the wireless monitor profile settings is where im having problems?
what setting do u need to do?

Is it the usb dongle? Have you downloaded the latest drivers from the belkin site?

on mine i can right click the software application on the system tray and i have the option of repairing connection. can this be done?

no ive just bought it,never used one before
on the picture it show laptop -> router -> but there picture of a lock
so the connection is there , i just need to know what to do next

simple one first... you have put in your internet connection details into the router haven't you? the router connects to the internet and not your computer so you need to tell it what credentials to use.
