Cheers my luvlies! The last time I arranged any flowers was with my nan when I was about 11. So 16 years later I was hoping I could get it sussed.
I love foam roses, to me they look so much better than silk. Although sometimes they can look a bit odd in some colours but that depends on the make, but I suppose thats the same for all fake flowers.
The red nest as I have been calling it, was reduced from £5.99 to £1.79 as it was a discontinued range. Very mse
Have kind of decided how the table arrangement will look will upload a pic shortly.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

There are loads of bits and bobs I havent used... got a litttle over excited whilst in the shop. I have made up 1 bouquet, 2 flower wands, 2 table decorations, 5 buttonholes (and still have enough to make a couple of coursages) and I would say that all the bits and bobs cost £60 but I spent £67.... although will use the rest as xmas decorations lol.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Quick question....
Registry office ceremony... whats the drill? I havent been to a wedding since I was little and I was a very peeved off tomboy who had just had chicken pox and was made to wear a big puffy pink bridesmaids dress. Just realised I dont know what to expect lol.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Doesn't take long (at least mine doesn't seem to be) Local registry office have told me 15-20 minutes
You come in, few words from the registrar, reading (if you're having one), vows and ring exhange, you are now hubby and wife, kiss the bride, sign the register and off you go..........as far as I am aware!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

They are alot easier than they look. I literally started with a flower that I wanted in the center and worked my way round. Each time I was happy with a layer of flowers I used florist tape to bind it so they wouldnt slip. I would then work on the next layer etc. If you like I can take pics on a stp by step basis when I make me next table decoration if its any help.
On another note DD has given me her cold, and I feel poop. I am taking OH to hospital for an appointment with his consultant, then off to give notices at the registry office. Tomorrow my mum is travelling up from Hampshire, so I am hoping that this cold clears up asap.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
