OH on the other hand has been an absolute genius and suggested that instead of wedding favours we have christmas crackers! I love it, so have discovered a place that does personalised christmas crackers. Yay!
can i be a nosey one and ask where? I've got cancer research pink pins for favours but was thinking these might not be soooo kiddie friendly, so am looking at other options......:heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpulsPrincesses wear crowns to remind them that they are beautiful and special because some days its easy to forget. :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls0 -
The place is here and you can put your own favours inside, so if it is for kids it could be sweets or little toys. The snaps can be bought here and there are loads of little toys for them like these.

i saw that you mentioned earlier about putting ribbon on your mums car and had to pipe up... i got married last saturday and the only thing about the day that went wrong was the ribbon on the car. We had used my car as the wedding car, and my sister drove us around for the day. I hadn't practised putting the ribbon on the car, so last saturday with my hair and makeup done, I was trying to work out how to do it. As a result, it was a bit of a rushed job but i really didn't think it would matter.
It was gorgeous sun when we left, but the venue was about 40 mins from my house. We got about half way there when it suddenly started peeing it down with rain, really heavy. My sister turned the windscreen wipers on, which got stuck in the ribbon. It was completely awful - she was driving along at 60mph on a country lane, completely unable to see because of the rain with the wiper bending on my brand new car because the ribbon was stuck! she stopped the wipers but it still didn't come unstuck, and essentially it was just incredibly stressful and not at all good! my poor little sister (who was also my bridesmaid) had a bit of a meltdown on the side of the road when we eventually found somewhere to pull off. Totally traumatic!!!
The shower passed very quickly and the rest of the day was perfect - but please learn from my extremely scary mistakes!!!!!!0 -
I love the dress, but as its December you will need something to cover it so you don't get cold!:rotfl:
Can I suggest a cape with a fur trim (think French lieutenants woman) but not sure if its possible and what cost is involved but would be practical and wintery0 -
So today I have been off out shopping
One of my favourite past times! I have now purchased most of the things for bouquet, table decorations, and bridesmaids wands. Now to start crafting.
Thank you to Rockinbikergal for some awesome links and advice. One top tip from her is to create a table decoration and put it on the parcel shelf of the car so it doubles as a car decoration! Awesome!mimosaurus wrote: »i saw that you mentioned earlier about putting ribbon on your mums car and had to pipe up... i got married last saturday and the only thing about the day that went wrong was the ribbon on the car. I have rung my mum and "apparently" she remembers how to do it from her 2nd wedding (24 years ago).... oh well its her car and shes driving it lol. I wil just laugh if it goes horribly wrong... and possibly mention "I told you so".I love the dress, but as its December you will need something to cover it so you don't get cold!:rotfl:

I cant really find a cape that I like the look of but I have found this wrap and I quite like it. Definitely looks like it will keep the chills at bay (possibly). Although will keep looking.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Thanks to Nunnygirl I have found the perfect tights. Now just to find the perfect shoes. They need to be a size 8, red, closed toe, wedge heel no higher than 2.5 inches and no less than 1 inch high. OH has found these but not 100% certain.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
