Wow, you don't beat about the bush do you lol!!! Nope :D I love projects especially with deadlines lol

So it seems you're basically sorted doesn't it ~ don't forget to wear comfy shoes though, my feet killed me, can't imagne how they would have been if I was pregnant too! This is going to be interesting as I want heels but am worried about my feet swelling

Aww, I'm so excited for you both! :T

My dress is red! That is a very good colour! :D :T:D:T

Sorry I am a tad biased!

Red is the best colour for a wedding dress :D

The dress is lovely Ticklepenny. Good you've got the reception venue sorted as that I thought would be the trickiest thing with Christmas.

If you're into the whole Christmas thing I would definitely pick up this as a theme which will match the dress perfectly. How about some holly in the bouquet?

Otherwise, my advice is don't panic, its all do-able in two months and keep it simple - its about the two of you cementing your family bond.

I have always loved organising events and shin digs so am in my element.... my brain is on overtime. Please feel free to pipe up if you think I am forgetting things :D I may be posting alot today just to get things out of my head IYKWIM :D

Hello tickle, coming over from the pg thread.

A photographer for £50? Do you know someone that's doing you a favour?

Does your budget include the cost of the marriage certificate? I'm sure we had to pay for ours as extra, or maybe it was because I got 2.

What flowers have you got planned? Making your own up?

Have you got people to do you hair and makeup? Because when I looked noone would do makeup without a trial, or are you doing your own?

Do you need to think about decorating tables? Favours? Table centers? Or is your venue a restaurant?

    Congratulations!
Well done on all you've managed to arrange so quickly, and without any hysteria (at least none that's been communicated in this thread! :D)
    Love the dress!

When my DH & I got married, 19 years ago, we arranged everything in about 6 months, and we'd been together a year, almost to the day of the wedding.
We had a small simple ceremony and it was perfect but I'd have married him in a field wearing a black bin bag if I'd had to (although luckily this wasn't necessary :D) - my Dad said he wished he'd known this at the time! :rotfl:

Regarding hair, one piece of advice I was given was not to choose anything too different from my usual look as I'd end up worrying and fussing all day about whether it was ok (I never normally wore it up, so it was good advice for me).

I wish you and your husband-to-be all the best, I'm sure the wedding will be perfect.

Does your budget include the cost of the marriage certificate? I'm sure we had to pay for ours as extra, or maybe it was because I got 2. I think so..... will check this next wednesday when we give notices.

What flowers have you got planned? Making your own up? Making my own fake flower things.... OH and some family members have terrible hayfever, so to make things fair I am gonna use silk/foam flowers.

Have you got people to do you hair and makeup? Because when I looked noone would do makeup without a trial, or are you doing your own?Yes there is a lovely lady who will do it but I am paying for a trial out of my own money as me and OH have a date night coming up lol

:D Cannot stop grinning... right must go get DD up so we can get off and out asap. Will do more reply later :D
