I have a Tesco sim only PAYG and I top up by £10 once in a very blue moon. Added bonus is that Tesco "give" you triple (so they give you £20) which only last one month but your original £10 lasts as long as you can make it.

When I do top up, I use my free £20 instead of the house phone so save on my landline calls too. Plus points of course, which are currently triple!

    I do this too.
Can recommend Tesco PAYG. Normally I only use my phone to text occasionally, and I top up when I get down to my last pound or so.

  • I recently signed up with giffgaff. You have to use your phone once every 6 months to keep the number alive but thats it. Nice cheap calls and texts too. 8ppm calls and 4p texts and I have set it up to automatically top up by £10 when my balance falls below £3. Simples as they say.
