I thought this was a caring community, it sounds more like a Tory party confrence.
They got a job in one town on a little wage, and they are told to commute,
so all thieir wages go on travel expense,
so they are told to move,
how easy is it t find accomidtaion so easy
No Tory - Old Labour through and through.
You seem to have misunderstood the OP's situation. The OP had a job in one town and gave it up to move to another town less than 30 miles away, where he didn't have a job and was unable to get one. When he moved back to the original town he tried to sign on but was unable to because he had chosen to give up a job voluntarily.
It makes things so much easier if you read what was written.0 -

Have you tried for a crisis loan or income support? I haven't a clue what else to advise. My son lived at home while he was jobhunting and I kept him
