Hi all, hope I am in the right section for this
I am wondering if you any of you have either of these cameras. It seems that the VTECH is much better than the little tikes camera. Would I be right in thinking this? Its for my very active and kind of impatient three year old nephew.
Secondly, I am having to buy second hand as they are rather expensive. One of the ones I've seen doesnt have a usb lead on it. Some of the ebay sellers are selling items labelled kidizoom usb leads rather expensively, but they look like normal ones. Can I use a normal one.
Thanks

I would say don't bother with the kiddizoom. My DD is very active and cannot get a photo out of hers that isn't totally blurred. Such a shame, cos she can take a great pic on my very expensive camera!Debt free as of July 2010 :j

We have one of the vtech ones and my children love it, its great fun putting silly hats on people etc . They are never going to be as good as a normal digital camera for quality but they are great for children imo.0

I bought one of those Olympus "tough" cameras for my boy when he was 4, and he managed to destroy it by shoving the memory card in the wrong way.0

We've got the fisher price kid tough camera, no fancy games but my 3yo can take a pretty good picture on it and it get thrown around and chewed on my my 16mth old but is still going strong. I'm really impressed with the battery life on it too I think they lasted about 5mths (Duracell ones)0
