Hi fellow MSEr's,
Having bombarded with new Top Paying interest products: A & L online saver 5.38% (minimum deposit of £5000 and interest paid monthly) and icesave 5.20% (minimum deposit of £250 either monthly or yearly interest paid)
Will you part company with ICICI?
cheers

A&L have the same restriction as HSBC - no interest paid in the month of withdrawal.Ethical moneysaver0

thanks for all your replies guys. I am about to ditch them but would probably leave a £1. Who knows how they react if their army of faithful moneysavers have abandoned them. They are due for an increase in rate, aren't they?;)0

FYI. See here especially FAQ number 13. Unlucky for some.0

I would not close just yet. This is the beauty of being unfaithful to your wife, I mean to your bank. You just need to move your money around.:D0

Further to my own experiences, and the anecdotal evidence of others, I have closed my account completely. The examples of poor customer service and appalling errors have meant that ICICI has lost all credibility in my eyes. They could not pay me enough to save with them again.
They did not shape up, so I have shipped out.0 -
I'll just do what I did with ING - leave a nominal amount in, and move it elsewhere (IceSave in this instance)Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
