ESA Medical Possibly Failed

If you have failed, you can request your medical report so you can see where you did not score the relevant points. You can then either compose a statement of appeal yourself, or an organisation such as CAB, DIAL etc can help you with it.
I just failed mine, and i have received copies of both the decision makers score sheet and the written statement of reasons, the "doctor" who assessed me has missed out so much of the information and put so many lies about things that didnt even happen at the medical in the report its disgusting, im appealing against this decision and i wish you the best of luck with your situation.
EDIT: my medical reports that I was asked to lay on a bed... there wasnt even a bed in the room...0 -
I still dont understand how a decision maker "decides". The only paperwork that they have at their disposal is the ESA50 which the claimant fills in and the ATOS form the HCP fills in. You are told not to include any other evidence with your ESA50. So, if there are conflicting answers on the two different forms, how does the decision maker come to a decision without actually seeing the person involved?
I have asked this questin before but dont seem to be able to get an answer that makes me understand ???0 -

exactly!!!!!
both the reports i have here contradict the other, im writing an appeal, its took me 3 days so far, and ive done 9 pages.
i wont give in till i get it either, the way they have treated me is disgusting.
i told the "doctor" that saw me that I have regular falls, my legs just go from underneath me, and i gave her an example of when i was attending for an xray, my legs just went and i fell face first into the gutter, blacked both my eyes and broke my nose, but amazingly this is missing from the report, but the written statement of reasons states im able to get to a place by myself without help from another person... my wife has to come everywhere with me.

I have asked this question again on a different post, as, other people who did not reply the 1st time I asked, may see it on another post, and, I may get some other answers that would go some way as to make me understand how the decision is arrived at!!0 -

The DM gathers all of the evidence and where there is a difference in opinion, will make a decision on the balance of probabilities. This is why additional evidence is very important.
The DM is not a medical professional. The DM meeting the claimant would serve no valid purpose.Gone ... or have I?0 -
