Ouch to the finger. We must be secret twins. I sliced my finger too about a week ago. Thankfully it is healing up really well, but i probably should have gone and had it looked at.0

Eughh! I am a poorly person. I seem to have picked up a stomach bug on top of almost losing half a finger! Either that or I am so stressed out at not been able to get stuff ready for the kitchen fitters tomorrow or sort out the christening I am making myself ill:( Had fun this morning washing my hair wearing a freezer bag on one hand;)
Good news on the MFW front. I received a letter from Np0wer giving me a refund of £39.04 from the changes they made to prices back in 2007. This will be going straight into the mortgage savings pot when I get to the post office to pick it up.
I have also miscalculated the amount I had counted in my penny pig. I thought I had £26 but I have actually got £36:T
Mortgage #1 balance is also £90 lower as this includes a redemption fee if settled in the next 4 years and we won't be moving for at least 5 so I am taking this off.
I have cancelled my veg box this week as well saving £18 but will leave this money in the food pot as I am having a go at the GC again this month.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -

I am back in the land of the living today. Thanks for your good wishes
Good news is I have lost 2.5 lb:D:o I hope I can keep it off and don't make up for lost time by stuffing my chops in front of the telly tonight as DH is out on a lads night out.
Things are a bit tighter this month than anticipated. DH has been paid and it is a bit lower than expected so we are about £300 short of what we need this month so some scrimping and saving to be done. There is money in the savings but I do not want to touch this as it has had a beating this month after paying for the kitchen. Maybe this will give me a kick up the bum to sell the things that have been waiting to be sold for ages.:o
I do not have any nights out planned until the end of the month so will have an IOU for my personal spending money which will save £100 and I am hoping to come in under the GC so will save a bit there.
Overpayment wise the £41 will go to #1 as I have set the DD to come out this month and small bits and pieces will go to #2. I have a SO in place for £50 to go to the #2 savings account but will need to use this to live on this month.
It will be hard not buying new curtains, kettle, microwave etc for the new kitchen but needs must. It is beautiful by the way:happyhear, they have done a really good job on it. I just have to clean up all the dust today:eek:
DH bought DS his first football strip yesterday with his name and a number on the back. He said my face was a picture at the price_pale_:eek: He will have grown out of it by the end of Jan!!
Right, off to make a start on my kitchen so I can stick all the stuff back in it out of the living room.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
