Just to put my opinion in, I got the pink Kiddizoom camera for my 4 year old for her birthday last month and she absolutely LOVES it. The picture quality isn't that good but she loves it, the good thing is that you can take a picture and then edit it on the camera to put crowns, monkey faces etc on their heads. The video function on it is fantastic and its so nice for me and my husband to watch their videos (I have a 2 year old as well) and to be able to see things from their perspective. The camera also has video games on it which my daughter loves...she's actually a bit addicted to the games, but at least she plays with it!!

Honestly it is the best present she's EVER had. Picture quality isn't the be all and end all whe it comes to kids!

I agree, my dd got the pink kidizoom plus last xmas and has had so much fun with it, the picture quality is not perfect but pretty good, it surprised me tbh. I think the original kidizoom was not as good quality but the plus was improved. My dd and all her friends and her 9 yr old brother come back to it time and time again for fun pics. It is also entertaining for the adults when she puts us behind bars or in a pirate mask . I have got her the kidizoom video cam for xmas, hope it is as good as the camera
