Cuts for the poor, cuts for the middle classes, nothing against the richest in the country. No mention of reductions in the tax gap, and no mention of tax evasion.
Tory's ALWAYS choose the easiest targets. Nothing has changed since Thatcher.
He did announce an extra 900 million to be spent on tax evasion and fraud, they seem to think by spending this 900 million they can re-coup 7 billion!

I have learnt nothing about my own area of work that I did not know before the statement.
I guess if he went through the lot he'd be standing there until the next time he had to give the speech!
I hope you don't lose your job BTW. Unfortunately lots of your colleagues will and I know exactly how tough it is when you lose your job and your chosen industry isn't hiring.0 -

Charity begins at home except for do-gooder toffs who can burden the poor in their own country by giving to the rich, to 'distribute', in poor countries."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0
