    Agree, Johnson's delivering an excellent response to Osbourne's speech.
    Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.

    And so the Barnett Formula remains in place and the already prosperous residents of Scotland (to judge from the many triumphal reports on here about the continuing house price boom up there) who are also about to get free NHS prescriptions. . .

    Will continue to be subsidised out of the national purse.

    I understand realpolitik as well as anyone. But that doesn't mean that the amount of money being chucked at Scotland is in any way defensible.

    I missed it too but according to the ticker tape thingy on BBC, it is going to be replaced by a more 'targeted' support.

    We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
    Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Cuts for the poor, cuts for the middle classes, nothing against the richest in the country. No mention of reductions in the tax gap, and no mention of tax evasion.

    Tory's ALWAYS choose the easiest targets. Nothing has changed since Thatcher.
