There is also callcredit. Try there.
I cant see why Barclays would close anyones account if you are paying on time every month. As you said you also have a loan account with them as well, so they are making money.
There is no such thing as internal decision. Its a lie they tell us when they dont want to say you are either usless or they too frightened to lend to us.
The other people on here who say that the accounts are closed. The companies at the time went through something different. They were in trouble and needed to make as much money as possible when selling the accounts.0 -

You are exactly the sort of person they don't want on their books. If you pay your card off in full every month then they make no money on interest payments and very little on commission. They would prefer to have customers that keep an outstanding balance on their card.
I think you are probably wasting your money on buying credit reports. The bank have their own criteria which bears very little relation to your credit report or credit score.

Buying a credit report is a very sensible thing to do,buying a credit score is the waste of money.0 -
Rupert Bear;37861040]Perhaps there is no such thing as an internal decision but they do have their own internal score as well as the score they get from Equifax.0

Thanks James and Rupert Bear..
I have just activated my TESCO club card, so feel pretty safe now as i have option B to pay if and when require... got a response from Ombudsman, pretty impressive i just logged a complaint couple of days ago now i have dedicated representative with direct access to him.. let see what happens...
as far buying reports are concern i never purchased any reports ever since am in UK because i know my credit history is good but it was good practice as they even tell you who made the enquiry about your history.. Experian report is pretty impressive as it was reporting the tesco club card enquiry and i only applied the card day before yesterday before ordering the report.. so that tells they do get updates on regular basis..0
