Hi everyone, well its sunny today and its making me feel happier! its amazing what it can do!
Well I popped to town today, and achieved:
- sent ebay parcel
- returned clintons cards and got a refund of £16.49 back onto the credit card
- bought some great childrens books in pound shop for christmas, they will be great for my daughter.
- looked into the natwest coin system, its exactly like the coinstar but you dont get charged and it goes straight into the bank account, have an old natwest account so will dig out the card and get the coins into there!
Also today I realised just really how unorganised I am, it was a real eye opener when I was looking for a receipt and I looked in all the places I thought I would put it and oh my god it wasnt there, but I did come across a hell of alot of old receipts, change, letters, tissues just about anything a woman would take in her handbag, all in plastic bags, shoved in old handbags. I am a disgrace! To the point of oh my god its awful, unorganised and I could free up a hell of alot of space! So mission this week is to make a dent in it all and get organised in that area!
Also found out that I have missed out on the tescos pampers hamper due to my misplacing of vouchers, I am gutted as I really wanted it but the date has ran out on the voucher. Dont know what to do! Its a freebie when you but a pack of pampers and I have a voucher (in date) to get money off of pampers. So not so good! But then I also found £4.50 in tescos vouchers so that cheered me up after loosing out on the hamper! you win some you loose some...... I loose a lot!
Hope your all ok, off to do some chores, Ill be back later!Clutter clearout - 12 bags

Well done on the returns, that's all money back to your credit card.
Thanks for the info on the Natwest machines, I've just opened a basic account with them so now I'm wondering if they've got a change machine here. I have a HUGE plastic coke bottle which I put all my spare change into and will use to pay towards my debts when it's full (the amount in there is barely past the base at the moment :rotfl:).
With the voucher, is it worth popping into Tesco or phoning them up and asking them if they happen to have a spare pack or something? If I remember rightly, shops have a couple of months after the final expiry date on coupons to submit them so if they've got some left over they might accept your coupon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thank Jwil, I have more to take back!! I am being ruthless!
Thats great about the coke bottle! Good luck with filling it up, you should write down when you started it and when its full!
I will get in contact with them, I could really use it!
Hope you are ok!Clutter clearout - 12 bags

Oh my god having a down day, the credit card bill arrived today and I am so worried about it, I dont want to open it. I am so worried. I just want all this debt to be gone, and all the worry to go! I desperatly need to step things up! There are so many things I could spend my money on which I need but no I need to focus on repaying the debt of the things I didnt need.
Its even got to the point where I have kept things as a friend may want them, even tho its a kind thing to do I do need to think about the debt and clearing it. Friends should understand, well mine arent the understanding type, they are all financially stable, financially ok, financially spend what ever they want and not worry. They have all the latest fashion, nice cars, socialise!
Me I am in debt, loosing weight to get into old clothes so I dont have to buy new! (that bit is good, its healthier!!)
Oh I just need to start focusing and getting on to it now! My head feels messed up today!
Good news is that i have sold some items on ebay which I need to parcel up and send! Thats some extra money to go towards the debts, just need to find more.
why do I keep having down days, sorry guys for going on again. This diary is the one place I can be me and let it out! No one else understands.Clutter clearout - 12 bags

Just thought i'd pop in and say hello and good luck.
I'm disorganized (trying to be better) and it really messes with your head. I put a post-it note up on my calendar with my to-do's for the day. Even if it's something simple like taking recycling out or cleaning fridge or making phone calls - it feels so much more satisfying when you see them scored off (I just feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders when I see my cleared list) - plus I think it helps with other members of my family as they tend to help more when they can score something out too!

But do you know for definite that things are so hunky dory with them? In my experience we never usually tell people (unless it's on here) about our true financial circumstances. They might not be that much better off than you. Don't worry about how other people spend - just focus on yourself. :A

Agree with jackieb - you may think that your friends can spend without worrying, but until you had your lightbulb moment, your friends may also have thought that of you. No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors. I know that when I had debt my parents didn't have a clue. They thought I had loads of money because I spent like I had loads of money.
Spending habits CAN be changed. We aren't spending a penny of our wedding on credit.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Hello and thank you for popping in, thats a good tip about post it note, do you tend to keep the list small to avoid overloading? I think thats where I go wrong, do you find you are disorganized in every area?
