I voted for the 'proud to be dealing' option, but will accept the democratic result:beer:

  • I like payback time, it is more sassy and shows we are not pathetic or passive, but are proud to be dealing with our problem. We kick !!! (debts).

I really like the sentiment of this idea for a slogan.

I like 'It's Payback Time' too - I feel like I could continue quoting that in my sig even once I'm debt free, which I'm not sure I would with the 'Proud to be dealing with my debts' option. Although I'll happily go along with the majority!

Ooooh it's neck and neck. I'm for the payback slogan. No uncertainty in that one as to whether you are proud of the debt, or the paying it back.

    Just voted!

The best one for me by far is about seeing debt's ugly, cold side when DD was young and we thought we may lose our home we had worked soooo hard for. OH was self-employed and the people he was doing work for used to pay him on a 60-day billing set-up. They were a big national company so we couldn't negotiate terms. Work was being done, petrol used, other expenses then wait 60 days for payment. It was a very dark time for us.
Happily OH is still self-employed (different business), paid weekly, still in our own home (have moved house though - out of choice). And of course I saw the light when I found this site and all the helpful, friendly people on it. :A
