What records are you selling?

A lot of old ones! From a quick flick through it's Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd that kind of stuff, seems to be quite a few collectors editions etc. I've done a bit of research and think some will only go for a few £s but some may be worth £50 or so each.

Not got much experience of this kind of stuff so if anyone has any tips would be much appreciated!

A record fair might be a better idea? We have them in Brighton every month, collectors go and see what they can get. I think you might have to pay for a table though, but could work out cheaper than the listing fee's. Or maybe call up some independant record stores out the Yellow pages and see if they're interested?

I've got about 200 records sitting here too, but they're not worth anything...

We used to have a good little record shop in Aldershot, but it closed down, think they found it cheaper to do business online.

Might list them on Gumtree in the meantime, as at least there's no fees for that, and I've done quite well selling things on there before.

Gumtree is a good idea - means stuff can be collected as the postage fees for records could be quite high (I know you pass them on but you don't want to miscalculate and be out of pocket) xx
