So, I am finally back and most definitely not debt free

It's finally below 2K though, so my aim now is to get it completely cleared by 11th of April, my birthday.

I said I wouldn't spend another Xmas and New Year in debt back in 2011 and that didn't happen so I need to make sure the 'I won't spend another birthday in debt' does happen!

First I will be focusing on getting the extra £700 flight money I borrowed from my Mum cleared, then onto the rest. Still haven't heard back regards refunds on the flights, so fingers still crossed for that one.

Wow, Africa seems like a long time ago now.............

I had a very 'interesting' time shall we say! Some very good parts but some very bad parts too. I ended up leaving where I was supposed to be staying for the month after 2 weeks.

Not sure on plans yet Happy - really need to get my head back in debt-busting mode and it's not going well!

I really need to hit ebay - I need a good declutter as well as the money. Not sure though if January will be a good time to sell though as I wonder if most people will be short of money?

You are probably right regarding selling in january but you can try ? I am relying on ohs bonus to clear a chunk of my target for 2013 and then il aim to have the rest of my target tucked away nicely for april/ may so then the rest is over what my target is xx Thanks for the email i can see why you want to keep it private. I would have done the same xx
