What a lovely start to the day - the sunrise outside my office window is beautiful, all blues, purples and oranges and the trees look black in front of it :)

    £40 to the loan :)

Had yesterday off to wait in for the meter man to remove our checking meter in the on-going electric bill saga.

Spent the day giving the flat a really good clean so the ebay pile is growing. Then pub shift in the evening.

    Huge congrats!!

You've overtaken me now - I want to get my DFD to Oct too.

    What's the 101 list Beccie?

Thanks MrsB :) The 101 list is 101 things you want to achieve in 1001 days. I decided to do it as that's roughly in line with when I want to have gone travelling. I made mine somewhere in between a 'bucket list' as I already have one and not as dull as my usual to-do lists! I wanted to include fun stuff as I think I forget that sometimes with too much working. Here is mine, although not completed yet. There's loads of threads on here with people doing them which is what caught my attention.
    Hi Beccie

Just popping in! I really can't believe your figures, they are amazing and inspirational. One day I'll read the whole thing but in the meantime, do you have any tips you can pass on??? xx

Unfortunately no great tips - mine has just been work, work work! :o I just keep concentrating on what I can do when it's gone. I may have looked at flights to Africa the other day ;) DF present to myself and all of that!

Well done on the new DFD thats amazing

Whats Amazon trade in as I have loads of books i need to get rid of

    HWG x
Me too on the book front - I was wondering that too.. x

Amazon trade-in is roughly 25p a paperback, although more for some and defnitely more for text-books. Just type in the book and then scroll down the selling options on the right-hand side to see if it's available for trade-in. Roughly 75% of mine have been. Don't bother looking at the trade-in list as for some reason loads don't show up in there. It's free to send them in and they return for free if the books don't meet the standard set. I haven't had any problems with that yet. I know 25p doesn't seem a lot but when you can throw them all in a big box and get rid of them in one go it works out much better than ebaying! :)

Let us know what you think of it - I'm going to order it soon too. I'm trying to save Aamzon vouchers from surveys etc to pay for bits and pieces like that :)

    Good luck HWG :)

£51 to the loan today :D

Sunrise is a beautiful pink and purple today :) I moved offices just before Christmas and knew I was going to miss the lovely sunsets from that side of the building but this is making up for it.

Rushed home yesterday afternoon as there was an apparent emergency and water was 'gushing' from our flat into the one below. Turned out the people below were exaggerating slightly and there was a small damp patch on their ceiling! Turned out to be our water tanks fault though so that's fixed which is good news as it's alot quieter now than it used to be.

Spoke to OH last night and am going to speak to my boss this morning when he gets in. Looks like my DF present to myself might well come true in November! :j:j:j
