Thanks everyone! Not sure what I have to do at the casting day Emz, apparently they will email me further details this week. It's being held at Gunwharf Quays - is that near the station do you know?

I have been paid today! :j So I'm moving into September payments a day early - £300 to the loan and £278.77 to savings. (Had a small bonus this month)

I want to have the back up of savings in case something goes wrong but it is also so tempting to throw them at debts! I am going to make my savings target what I owe my brother - the target will go down as I am to pay him £210 a month anyway but then I can add to my savings, it's there if I need it, but once I meet the target I can then just pay him back. He is my last debt to be paid anyway. Hope that makes sense!

Did day 3 of shred yesterday and actually hurt less today so hoping that's a good sign!

I have also hit 44% and gone sub 16K!! :T

You really seem to be battling your debt well, those numbers are coming down so fast!

Wow well done bex, payday always feels good .. me and oh had a free trip to cinema to see fright night in 3d sky rewards... however spending on sweets and drinks made it costly lol so me and oh had a financial flurry updated spread sheet, always good when it says we end the month in a positive .... by december the positive is great so we are getting somewhere sometimes focusing on the here and now is abit much but when you can see a brighter spreadsheet two months away it almost feels really good xx

Thanks Pennies. It's going well at the moment for money - one of the guys who works at the pub is ill and having a lot of hospital treatment - obviously not good and I hope he's well soon but it does mean that we are all getting a lot of extra shifts as we cover for him.

I love looking further into my spreadsheets too - things look so great in about 6 months time!

I know it beats when we first started and it was like years before stuff looked good lol xx so lets give ourselves a pat on the back... to be fair bex having savings is GREAT i have zilch that would do much for us if stuff hit the fan lol so thats going to be the next agenda xx

Although I was a bit grumpy that it had got to 10 at night before we got time to go to Tescos (cleaning after work, shredding and dropping off the dog) we did get some excellent bargains as veg was reduced to between 4 and 12p! Also have a posh finest bean salad for my lunch today as I felt I could justify the 33p
