I have been thinking that maybe surveys aren't worth it. I had one through the other day that was £1.25 for 25-30 minutes. I could earn triple that on the questions.

I got payout from Onepoll recently, but goodness knows how long I spent earning that £40.

Although I guess it's okay if you do them at work, as you are earning money already so it's just extra on top :D.

I gave up on surveys for the same reason - great when you're on maternity leave though when baby is asleep (from what I remember) but when you have limited spare time they just don't pay.

Hi Kat, nice to see you back, hope you're ok?

I had an email from Woo a couple of weeks back saying she needed a break for a little while but she was ok. Nothing since then. I hope she does come back at some point as I miss her!

I hope she comes back too. I'm good thanks just struggling to find time to come on here with crazy work hours and a child - will try harder though hahaha

£20 to Lloyds and 69p to savings :)

I think the surveys thing is right - I will carry on with the ones I'm doing till I reach payout (there's something in me that won't let me not want what I've earnt so far!) and then leave a lot of them I think. Other than one's like New Vista with the £1 per 5 mins as that's actually a good rate.

Further arguments with electric  I emailed the meter readings in again on Monday and they are now insisting that the meter is correct and this is all our fault as the bill is estimated. I have emailed back to say that I do not accept the meter is working properly and won't be making higher payments till they prove that it is. I'm annoyed on the estimates bit as they came to read the meter in January and didn't put the readings in and somehow that's our fault?! Also the bill they have now come up with (£1,197:eek:) is £3 lower than last weeks supposedly correct bill despite us obviously having used more electric since then and not having made any payments during that time. More convinced than ever that they do not know what they are talking about!!!

Well done on the payment Beccie :T.

I know what you mean about the surveys, I'm going to keep going until they all payout and then leave it at that. New Vista is good, when you get the surveys from them. I have been £11 away from payout for ages.

I hope you get your electric bill sorted. They are all as bad as one another. My mum is having a tough time getting a bill from Scottish Power. She has been with them for over a year and has never had a bill. She hasn't a clue if she owes them a fortune or not (she has been paying towards it monthly though). They said they were sending it to an email address that doesn't even exist and every time she rings, it's like she has never called them before

hi all, if you want some surveys that pay relatively well try http://www.edigitalresearch.com/shopper/ you basically review various websites and test their customer services eg phoning and emailing them. they pay much better than the othes survey sites i have looked at. you can do purchase and return surveys as well which you can make quite a bit on :D

Oh and have finally listed an item on Gumtree - I know one is not a lot but it's a start for me who seems to be being incredibly lazy about listing things! :D
