Why can I no longer get channel 5, Five US, fiver etc? Is there anything I can do?

I see from using Google that other people have had similar experiences, and I am curious to know if there is anything I can do. BTW, I am currently living in Germany so I dont know if that poses an extra problem with my digibox (though I am getting other channels just fine).

If you're talking about a Sky digibox, you'll need a FreesatFromSky card to get FIVER and FIVEUS. I don't think they'll send the card to a non-UK address. Someone else may be able to confirm that though.

FIVE can be added manually into 'Other Channels.'

Confirmed, it must go to a UK address.

It also has to be activated using a UK based telephone.

9now you should see a list of tv stations bbc london ect ect hilight chn 5 then press the yellow button press back button 3 times ,you see a menu with other channels press 7and chn five should be stored press ok and five will be on your screen every time you want to watch sky press sevices and 7then five on menu ok hope this helps ""

Finally, I get to watch Channel 5.....THank you all so much!!

Now that I have found it, If there is a way to add it to my favourites, I would be interested to know. I can't access it's viewing schedule on my TV right now, not that I'm complaining.

No, you can't put an "other channels" as a favourite.

You could add the version on 105 to your favourites just to get the schedule though.

That's the problem with the Add Channels, you can't really do anything with the channels in it. You can't add it to favourites and there will be no EPG for it, unless of course you still have 105 in the main EPG.

Hi ive just tried this to get ch 5 but i dont seem to be able to change the frequency and it comes up with "no signal" at the bit were your supose to see the list of channels at the end?

Use the number keypad to input the frequency.
