  • a teeny bit off topic - but hand warmers have been mentioned a couple of times and i just wanted to say that i have loads from the 99p shop! they're big squares (about 4inches square) filled with red liquid, and they are reusable. They last for ages - at least a few hours.

Just thought i'd mention it because someone said about thinking of them as favours!! They fit down the side of boots too - lovely!!! xxx

Well girls, its common knowledge now!!

H2B went round to pick up the kids last night and she asked him about it! There was only limited people in this area knew but apparently she has known since Friday when someone went into her work (she's a shop assistant) and mentioned it when they were chatting. She's more disappointed that she didn't hear it from us but she says the other folk were more upset when they realised that she didn't know by the expression on her face!

    You'll love this bit!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then............. she had the cheek to ask him if I had a ring because I could have had hers!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:like I would have that!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's been ok about it so far, kids have been told and the wee one says she can't be a flowergirl because she doesn't have anything to wear. When I told her we would get her something nice she will be happy as long as it has 'sparkles and diamonds' on it. And now has been looking at the FG dresses in the Next catalogue, seen the girls, and has her heart set on wearing a tiara, doesn't matter about the dress apparently!

Just keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't cause another set back, they made an agreement between themselves last week and just need to take it to the solicitor now to hopefully finally get the ball moving!!!

Looks like things could finally be happening here! Woohoo!!!

Well folks, just realised it's a while since I updated you!
Not only do we have an agreement (signed by both - she signed on his birthday and then text to tell him, in my eyes it was a bit b1tchy but also one of the best presents he could have got) which is still more than she should be getting, but we also halfway to actually settling it. Only 3.5 months now until he can apply for the cheaper divorce and then hopefully that will be over and done with as soon as possible.
She keeps asking him when we are getting married but he has just told her there is no plans and there won't be any made until after the divorce is through and we can get some money together for it!
Still not far enough on for my liking but every little step is moving forward....
