My mum actually suggested mulled wine but not sure how well it would be received. Personally I will just be glad for a drink and knowing me I will spill it so will have to have something light coloured for me - doesnt matter about everyone else hehe

We're having winter pimms for our drinks reception. We were going to have mulled wine but thought that winter pimms might be more likely to appeal to more people than mulled wine. Although mulled cider sounds good! But then our winter pimms is going to be made with hot apple juice so I guess it will be similar!

At last!! Wow what a great story...I hope you have the local press all lined up for this unique event! As long as everybody knows where it is they'll be able to dress warmly - that'll make it more fun and different for a start. There was a Four Weddings one where they married in a cave so that was cold too. I love the idea of fur jackets and mulled wine too. I'll make sure I pop back on the board enough to see the pics for that one!!

What an amazing idea! I love the thought of having a hot chocolate dressed in my wedding dress!! How nice would that be? The winter pimms sounds good but would love hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream - I am a big kid! x

Woohoo Mrs C to b sounds amazing. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks (ex wifey!) its what you KNOW that matters.

Wow! I had been trying to guess what you were up to but I never guessed that, it sounds amazing! I'm glad you have finally been able to reveal the secret and start planning things for real, congratulations on making the engagement public too!

ETA: I love the idea of little mugs of hot chocolate with marshmallows after the ceremony! Yum!
