Virgin Mobile "Fair Use" rip-off

True, but isn't this what the networks argue?
I prefer the way 3 (now) operate with their 5,000 text a month figure that is advertised. So 5,000 is more than unlimited? Interesting!
Everyone knows it's impossible for any network to offer true unlimited, but why can't they just quote what they are offering, it's better for both parties and we can compare packages.
Or they should agree what the minimum unlimited means, so we known at least what we're getting.0 -
Personally I would be more concerned that my daughter was sending a text every few minutes for 16 hours a day, seven days a week. I thouht my wife texted a lot at 200 a month but 3000 is just ridiculous.0

Personally, I am getting fed up with customer service workers being called morons for doing their job.
There is only one moron in this story.0 -
I agree, i`m sure the transcript of the call went slightly different than quoted also, and when "rip off" is included in any thread title, it usually translates as OP not read any T&C`s.0

VM have probably done the OP's daughter a favour, as she will now find she has more time for other things than texting.
How many hours a month does it take to send 3000 texts (even if you are fast)? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Quite correct, they did nothing wrong, but because they didn't agree they get called morons- it's not them who make policies.
Same with the folk who come on here and call us morons because we don't give them the answer they are looking for.0 -
