  • JasparConran ok take a deep breath, make a cuppa and relax and now repeat after me: I am NOT a bad wife/housekeeper. I work, I have a life and housework can take a backseat to everything else.

i second what sexymouse has said, dont try and play catch up with the days that have gone by this week as you will just get yourself more stressed out and thats not the goal at the end of the day.

take each day as it comes and so what your house isnt immaculate mine isnt and im sure other flyladies will agree that theirs isnt either :D so leave it for tonight, get a good nights sleep and tomorrow pick a list from page 1 (pick the one that has the least amount of effort to do) and work your way through that list, doing what you can when you can tomorrow. if you finish the list great, if you dont so what its only housework.

then saturday pick another list and see if you can fit that in amongst your day and sunday chill out and potter doing little bits like making sure the dishes are washed and things like that so come next monday when its time to start again you will already have made a difference in your house and it will get easier each time you do things.

also hubby should be helping as well. housework isnt just a womans job!

    seafarers xx

  • jasperconran - Welcome, I'm a newbie too but I've been made to feel very welcome here and have been given the encouragement I needed to make a start.

Mudbath - Good luck for tomorrow, I hope everything goes as well as possible.

Well, I've managed to complete my tasks for today.:j:j
After my Morrisons shop I set to in the study again.
I deleted loads of emails but couldn't bring myself to get rid of any links from my favourites just yet!
I set the pc off to defrag, it was taking ages so I started to de-clutter. Well one thing led to another and before I knew it I had worked through all the drawers and cupboards!!:T
I had loads of shredding to do but our blue bin is emptied tomorrow so that's ok.

Everyday things to do!!!! - ALL DONE:j:j

    Study - ALL DONE:j:j

    Bathroom tomorrow!

Off to bed now, goodnight all
    xx
