I have been in work today and even managed to play my flute, was a bit awkward at times but at least I can tell the doc how I am finding work. I didn't sleep well at all because of it last night, surprised I didn't keep OH awake. Got another appointment with the doc tomorrow morning so shall see what he says.
I have a feeling I am not going to be a fan of facebook today. We are all waiting anxiously for the defence spending review to be announced in an hour. Some of our hierarchy were having meetings this afternoon but we won't be likely to find out how anything affects us until tomorrow from our boss. However a wife of someone in another band has been putting stuff up saying about an announcement at 4pm, I don't know if that is the tv or their band being told something. We have had so many problemns with rumours for the last month now and our jobs are quite uncertain. I wish people would realise that until everyone has been told the relevant info then facebook is a pain in the a**e, I would rather hear from my boss that someone's wife

Luckily, Facebook was banned at the publicly funded organisation I used to work for: it was slimmed down and renamed 2 years and 2 weeks ago resulting in the closure of several offices. Despite the Facebook ban, the rumours still got out and about: mainly because those in the know went down the pub with people who couldn't keep their gobs shut.
Anyroad, it's tough for everybody at the moment:( so I'll drag my soapbox back to the cupboard.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Stairs scrapped, dishwasher unloaded, underwear and tea towels washed, towels washed and now I'm going to do some general s/s ing!
Stripes update - just had call from vet. He wants to see me at 530 but he did say that I could take her home with me so that's got to be good news (ish)!
I meant 'stairs scraped'!!0 -

Hugs to all concerned about their jobs
Spent the afternoon watching Nigella, with the fire on knitting.
DS1 gone to collect DS3 from school as it's raining.
Woody in the bad books for getting the turkey which was defrosting.
Need to dispatch DS2 to the woodstore to reload the log basket and DH to the corner shop when he gets home to buy more coal. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
