Toots - I missed your birthday too. I'm so sorry - happy belated birthday hugs and love to you xxxx
Kaz - big hugs coming your way too.
LL - hugs and fairy dust...hope all this fairy dust going to and fro doesn't act like the volcanic ash and start to ground planes!!!
Should have an update later about Stripes. She's having her first lot of tests today. She toddled off to with the vet all waggy tails and smiles. As I left I could hear all the nurses saying 'isn't she gorgeous'. I think she's landed on her paws there!
I'm going to start the list now and also scrape the stairs....they're looking white from fur (again - won't complain this time though).
Massive hugs to anyone in need xx0 -
Spent the morning sat by the AGA sorting a huge pile of gardening mags I got earlier in the year from a freecycler, there are benefits to feeling dire!
Made soup and managed cup of that, more in the pot for later.
Carlsbergran Soappie is fine, she has been really busy with lots going on but I'm sure she is flying still
Going to light the fire to warm the living room and watch nigella with some knitting now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
i'll give the list ago, hopefully wont miss anything now!0

Well I went on 'mysupermarket.com' and found that catfood was 2 for £4.00(instead of £3.45 each) that ended today so I have catfood to last until january in the boot of the car. Can't bring it in until the paint is dry on the chair as I've painted it in the loft room which is where I stockpile things like the catfood. I was just sitting here thinking how well I've done and that I got back 5 minutes before a hail storm so got the washing in and I've realised that I forgot the milk which was the one thing I really needed-duh!!! I'll have to go to Mr s whilst DD is at rainbows.
Just having a bacon sandwich for lunch then will get the chair seat covered.July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.

- Throw away/rehome/sell 10 things from each room in the house!!N/A; there's nothing left to get rid of.
I think another reason I'm tired is that Mr LW decided to collect on payment for helping with some of the kitchen tasks, first thing this morning – but hey, we won't go into that!;):D
Still, today's list is started; may overrun to tomorrow, we'll see, but with luck I'll be caught up in a day or so.:o
Mudders I'll send major healing energy for Stripes; canine though she is, she's still a precious member of the family.
Mollina Girl hey, I'm medically retired, too – got my marching orders a decade ago, though. Not sure if anyone answered your question, but Piggers updates Post #1 on the thread each day to put up a new day's tasks. HTH.:o
Healing vibes for all those who've had injuries recently – LadyL, Dippypud, Piggers, Cyclingyorkie come immediately to mind, special healing for Msgnomey, and (((HUGS))) for all whose lives are not as good as they'd like just now; Kazmeister comes immediately to mind.
Carlsberggal oh, congratulations to Danny!:T
Right, I'd better get on; the room's not gonna fly itself!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Great, thunderstorm here. Hope it passes in the next half hour or DS1 is going to look rather soggy in his school pic...
Put a charity bag out yesterday and just noticed they didn't collect it! so dashed out in the rain to fetch it in before all my old clothes start blowing around the close :rotfl: no-one wants to see my old bras... will add the socks to it and take a walk to the charity shop at some point, it's not close to me and I don't drive but DS1 has been walking more instead of going in the double buggy recently and they have good books...
Am now washed and dressed, 2 children fed and redressed, laundry away and everything tidy enough for me to not feel guilty about sitting down for 15 mins before venturing out in the torrential rain...So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy
WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...0
