I'm back
4am start (OH got up and made sure I was organised... he knew the hairdryer would keep him awake anyway), 4.45 taxi, 6.45 flight, arrived in Geneva a little late because we had to fly round France... meetings all day, lunch at 3.30pm, then got the train to Lausanne, found the hotel (nice, different, not a nasty corporate one), no broadband :j:j, went out for food, came back, fell asleep, got up at 6am (5am to you guys) washed, packed, dressed, had breakfast and was collected at 7.45 for an 8am meeting  had meeting, was driven back to geneva, then had three hours to kill at the airport (we'd allowed for another meeting but it didn't happen) got back late (had to fly round france again).
Hong Kong flights are now booked. But the hotel work usually use is full, so need to find another one... the travel team have suggested either the harbour grand hong kong or harbour grand kowloon (both look nice... so if anyone has any opinions/knowledge of Hong Kong I'd appreciate help to decide!)
OH now taking his DS1 to a college open day, so I need to get changed, go to reflexology, come back, have supper and do my expenses as I'm in the office tomorrow so don't want to miss the opportunity to submit them!
Hope you're all well and toots isn't overdoing things!0 -

hello :j
Haven't been to HK for a while, but the Hong Kong one had great views when I was there. Guess it depends on where your meetings are, Island, or Kowloon? Island is nicer, but then you've still got to get across to Kowloon if your meetings are there.

Haven't been to HK for a while, but the Hong Kong one had great views when I was there. Guess it depends on where your meetings are, Island, or Kowloon? Island is nicer, but then you've still got to get across to Kowloon if your meetings are there. No idea where the meetings are... some of them haven't even been set up yet (my boss is NOT going to be happy if they don't fulfil my quota for the time I'm there... particularly given the extortionate cost of the flights due to the late booking and having to pay for an extra night as I can't get a flight out after work on Thursday...
Been to reflexology... eaten (first proper meal of the day - lunch was a packet of snack thingys on the plane with a glass of water) and am now sitting in front of the fire (OH laid it yesterday so it would be ready when I got home :happylove)
Supposed I should do something useful now...
sexymouse - fingers crossed it isn't appendicitis, but don't take any chances.0 -
