Itchy skin - any advice?

The skin on my face (esp round my jaw line) has become really itchy over the past week and is looking slightly red. It's not looking dry and not flaking but it's just irritating. I'm wondering whether I need to start using a moisturiser at night or whether it's the colder weather?

Has anyone else noticed a change in their skin recently?

really....it's not hard to understand :T

It will be red if you continue itching! ;) Speak to a pharmacist - they're there to dispense some advice not just medicines. They will recommend the best cream/lotion and whether you should see a doctor.

Try not to worry too much.

Rashes are a symptom of many things, your best chance of getting it sorted would be to speak to a medical professional. On here we are not allowed to give advice based on symptoms or diagnose, sorry.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
