Ok, well, if someone could please shift it then I`d be grateful.
would also be grateful if any of the mods could address the matter when they are able to.
    Thanks.

If you want things to happen, then you contact a board guide.

Please don't ask here how to do that.

Why not? I asked openly and politely. Are you a mod or board guide?

    Why not?
Because there is a place for asking site related questions. It's called The Site Feedback Board.

I'm a board guide but not for this board, and I am not even aware of the thread you mention. However, it is worth mentioning that Board guides only hide threads pending full team referral , only the full admin term can remove a thread permanently and they don't read these boards. Admin only react to emails or abuse reports sent through.

Therefore any questions about removal should be addressed via the contact facility to the main team, however , if the team have removed a thread for whatever reason it is not usual for anyone on that thread to be told why, even a board guide for that board would not have been informed.
I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.. Please note that Ambassadors are not moderators. Well, I am fine for the thread to remain where it is, it`s only another person (so far) who has complained it`s in the wrong place. I have also duplicated my original post and put it in the suggested section.
If that`s true, that it`s usual for people to not be informed why threads are removed, not only is that bad forum etiquette but it`s plain bad manners. And before the team say they haven`t the time, if they have time to close the thread then they can surely spend a moment on sending a pm to the OP as to why? It causes a lot of bad feeling and lack of trust in the forum admin if not.

Read through the forum rules here, it does explain about thread removal and it also explains the difference between the main team and us mere board guides:

I understand the difference. But it seems as if my original question won`t be answered..that is, why the thread was closed in the first place. The inferrence of `medical advice` is spurious because nobody gave any.
I restate my points and leave it at that.
Personal opinion....there does seem to be a bias against discussion of menopause related matters on this forum and indeed, there are other threads that have little or nothing to do with moneysaving absolutely thriving here. But should anyone show any emotional or practical support for any woman going through the menopause they are consistently warned to keep it MS, which makes a farce out of almost every post, or the thread is shut down without so much as a why.
I understand that none of my issues about this will make the slightest difference and find that sad.
This site from my viewpoint, has a great deal of very good, genuine and helpful people on here.
But like every forum online, there are a few mods/admin/whatever they call themselves, who play god with threads yet feel no obligation to explain themselves.
I give up, and won`t post here again, which I`m sure others won`t think any great loss, but I haven`t got the energy to waste on pettiness, which is what this seems to be turning into, based on a very real, serious issue for so many women.
Thanks for your time to respond to this.

just want to reiterate red does posts and see no reason for the rudeness

we HAVE contacted a board guide re this and await hearing back from them when they can. we just want an explanation as to the apparently inequality in rule enforcement

so as i see it red doe was venting and if i am correct this section of the board is called praise, vent and warnings. so are we to assume u cannot vent on the vent section anymore than u can talk about health on the health section

like red doe i have no more to say
When you know better you do better
