really? I thought we'd skyped about the house! That'll be why you haven't come to stay yet! See, Finn can have his own room
:D
if we didn't have the laundry room upstairs it'd be a 5 bedroomed house.
so those plus bathroom upstairs and downstairs another bathroom, 3 receps, kitchen, scullery.... it's lovely but not when I have to clean it :rotfl:
ps hugs for poorly Finn
No, I totally missed that! I seem to have some weird memory that you didn't want to have more children than bedroom-room for so that's why you stopped at 2? Obviously I've totally made that up! :rotfl:

L seems to be refusing milk...
He's not running temp, or in any way appears sick... i cant see any teeth, and he nommed through the most rice pudding he has done to date....
Is this perhaps just clear cut sign he's ready for full on weaning now, up to now ive been doing it more for tastes of things rather than replacing milk feeds? but TBH I feel like i really havent got a clue what we're doing anymore.....there was a vague routine forming after his huge growth spurt but now its all gone belly up and I feel like im really lost....
His bedtime routine has stayed the same, so he's still sleeping well although has been waking earlier, but happily chats away to himself before he wants feedingWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Rant:
Had ex-mil on phone all day, she's out with KH trying to get the girl's Christmas presents from him. Fair enough I'm glad it's her because I don't want to talk to him, but AAAAARGHHHHH why put me on the spot yesterday asking what they want (at 8pm, on way home from carol service, then wants me to ask them and ring back) so I have to wind them up by asking when they're meant to be going to bed. I obligingly do this and have ben getting phone calls all day X/Y/Z is out of stock is there anything else, have you got an Argos catalogue they can look in? Well no. I don't! I let DD1 look on website and she asks for a pink barbie TV  so I find something more suitable and call, then I get another call with what the twins wanted oos in argos whixh just leaves me wanting to shout
ARGOS IS NOT THE ONLY SHOP THERE IS AND WHAT ELSE DID YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU ONLY START YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING ON DECEMBER 21st!
Sorry rant over!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

CAFC - has he had any milk at all recently?? How many "meals" is he having? Daisy went off her milk when poorly so I gave her a cup of water to sip to stop her becoming dehydrated.
I attempted to walk up the road to deliver pressies to a friend. Outside my house someone has kindly gritted but I got out of my little road on to the next and  I got stuck on a big piece of icey snow and when I tried walking I'd slip... then the pushchair was all over the place. I nearly had to phone DH to come and save me but I manged to get back on my road and go straight home again!! So at least I've been out for a whole minute!!:rotfl:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Thing is he just doesnt seem unwell/poorly... he's not changed at all in himself apart from not wanting much milk....he's more vocal but in a good way
He had a more decent portion of milk at about 3pm this afternoon, of around 170ml....
He's not been having what I would term "meals" as such because I was just trying him with purees to get used to taste/texture but today he had probably 60% of an organix jar, of banana and pear rice pudding, and then had bout 120mls of milk....at around 1pm....
Then I thought it might be me.... well actually it most likely IS me. I thought perhaps I was trying to feed him too early etc, as he was 3 hours roughly between (and had increased his feeds to 240mls) and then we started being more routine with the puree offering at lunch.... so maybe now I should be trying 240mls at greater intervals?
He generally has a feed between 7/8am, and then something at 10/10:45am nap then some time with his lovely mummy LOL and then puree offered at lunchtime around 1:30, followed by some milk (but was only having about qtr of a jar), then maybe a cat nap at half 2 for 20 minutes, then 4:30 feed, then maybe a cat nap around half 5, and then we do getting bath ready and some quiet time with mummy on the floor just rolling and talking, and then i start running his bath at 6, we do some nappy off time and singing, in bath around qtr past 6, out of bath 6:30, then a feed before bed, and asleep by 7pm all the way through.....
Poxy HV wants to come round tomorrow so i might let her, and ask....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
My arm hurts
this happened before when I had my neuro wobble, just have to wait and see if it goes away. I've also been having vertigo type feelings and nausea, to go with my stumbling (although it's been balance loss stumbling not my leg turning to jelly like last time) so hoping this isn't the return of the neuro weirdness
My mum hasn't even picked the kids up yet so couldn't get my blood test today and will never have results back in time for docs on 23rd if I go tomorrow. Grr.
Sorry for all the downers today
Love and hugs to everyone that needs them.
CAFC you worry too much (in the nicest possible way!) If he's hungry, feed him, if he refuses i don't worry it's trial and error. He's just as new to it as you are!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

CAFC - T has also decided she isn't as keen on milk lately. She is only taking about 150-180....I just let her take what she wants. She does have 1/2 jar of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner then just a bottle before bed at 7pm. She soes go 4hrs between feeds though and feeds at roughly 7/11/3/7.
Give it a day or so, he will probably get his appetite back. If he seems happy in himself there is probably nothing to worry about, but if the HV is due to visist anyway, just get her to check what he's eating to put your mind at rest.
