I'm really looking forward to Tuesday. It'll be great to see some old faces and some new ones.

My child seems to have hit the terrible twos :( Her tantrums are second to none and I reckon she could win a tantrum contest hands down (and I'm not trying to be competetive here! lol) :rotfl: I'm all out of ideas on how to handle them.

Off to read some bedtime stories and will hopefully get on to chat later x

I bet she'll be a perfect little angel on Tuesday to make a liar out of you! Can't imagine A having a tantrum!

Have had 2 nights using the Gro Clock and 2 nights without my son in my bed. However he has woken at 2 and 4 to count the stars to see how many there is left to go and calls me to check:o But at least he is not in MY bed. Am sure the star counting will stop soon too.x

Oooh - can you show me the clock please?

    !

Lol. You should have spent this week with us. I'm not a huge shopper and tend to go when we need something rather than as something to do IYKWIM. She took exception to this in John lewis today. I NEED a new winter coat, especially in this weather. I popped in and out in double quick time, yet we had screetching, screaming, yelling, throwing ourselves on the floor etc etc. Now she was in a clean nappy, had had lunch, wasn't over tired, had been running around and plenty of playtime before we went out and STILL put on some performance. it was toe curlingly embarassing.

And at the moment I daren't go to the supermarket as I've had to abandon trolleys three times in recent weeks:o what did people do before online shopping? I'm trying to entertain her, include her so she feels part of the shop, be quick, but the favourite tantrum starting phrase is 'Have it, Annabel have it, HAVE IT, HHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE IIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT'

I'm surprised tesco hasn't banned us :rotfl:

    Oh well. It's just a phase, it's just a phase, it's just a phase.....:T

ETA: she's fast asleep. Being a tantrum queen is exhausting work ;)

I need a birthday present idea for my little cousin please ladies. He's going to be 6 (I think!) and we're going to his party at the beginning of december. He's a very bright, intelligent boy who is creative and musical. I'm thinking of a nice book but would need some recommendations. I'm open to other suggestions too though.

Evening all - I'm not sure about coming in here now I'm all famous and that... :p

Anyway, very much set for Tuesday. I am going to meet Susan at the station (you come into Haymarket, is that right?) and we'll mosey on over from there and meet all you buildery types at 11. Unless we get hopelessly lost, which makes me think it might be a good idea if a local goes on FB and sends me their mobile number because we can't share it on here even by PM, obviously, it's against the rules.

Love all your fluffy pictures :grouphug:

Thanks lovely. I want some more of the 5 boxes of pizza mix for 99p as they are lush. I'm just looking for things to top the order up.

I used BB4less a while ago and was disappointed. Two of my jars were damaged and they 'forgot' to send my main item, then wouldn't send it out afterwards just refunded the 99p it had cost (but it was the whole reason I ordered).

i think supernanny did some thing about taking kids food shopping... but i think they were older so probably wouldnt work.... sorry i've not got much to suggest.....

Im still sad about tues :( nut looks like things are gna be tough next month as DH's last wage from current job will pay... whenever apparently as he's a leaver his wage isnt seen as a priority and so is paid later..... add to the fact that his CRB check for new job came back with a query....so his new start date isnt set... and its just ARGH...
