Mel - how did you decorate that cake? I spy evidence of cling film use but thats all...

Yes, I had to resort to cling film on the 3rd attempt:o It is a cake inside, topped with sweets...then a chocolate shell on the outside that the birthday boy will have to smash to get to the sweets/cake:) I tried to do the case by just swirling the melted choc round inside my bowl, just greasing the bowl...1st time with butter, 2nd time with oil......neither time could I get the flaming thing out!!!! So I lined the bowl with cling film and it was easy peasy;)

Hi all! I survived! We survived! Lol...apparently Sir Stinky got really fussy in the afternoon, as I still feed him them if we're home (but he's fine if he's out of the house), but he seems none the worse for wear right now. Can't beat working 5 minutes away, but tomorrow is the real test with going to CMs and such!

DH even cooked dinner, even if didn't turn out exactly as planned, lol...

Hope you lot behaved - won't be too much logging in from work, as obviously not a good idea as a new employee. ;)

I think I have exzema on my foot. First time evah. It's all red and itchy and now the skin is bleeding but its been itchy in that area for months now, but the stress of today has had me absentmindly scratting away ad now its on my foot and up my toes. OOPS!
  • Glad you survived Aless. Did Finn have a big grin for you when you got home?

We're having roast tonight, nom, nom!

BM- I scratch my leg when I am stressed and they end up raw. I get something similar to what you've described if I use plasters on my feet, I don't suppose that might have caused it for you?

I can't recall using plasters, I think it started cause I got a blister there from crippling shoes, and got itchy, and I kept scratching, and it's made it worse. Looks really bad today, esp on my toe, its all bleeding and scabby _pale_

Honestly, I don't know how people with it badly, manage to cope, because it's the most horrific irritating feeling ever. :(

Have you tried sudocrem? If I have a cut and the scab gets itchy I often end up with a bad patch of skin for months. I usually find generous applications of sudocrem helps and sometimes I use plasters to stop me scratching them.
