We're doing OK - wee monkey is finally sleeping pretty well at night (bar dummy rescue trips but that's our fault for letting him have one in the first place so we can't complain!) - working on daytime naps now *groan* Looking at starting to wean him in the next couple of weeks probably (once he's gotten shot of this cold and is eating like a horse again).
eggs - mmm dippy eggs, how I missed you while I was pregnant!

No experience of it (having had a baby who would take milk from anything or anyone) but have you tried different teats? As in different shape, or different feel rather than faster flow.
I personally wouldn't give hungry baby milk to a baby prone to colic. I think 12 weeks is classic growth spurt time so it may be a short term reversion to frequent waking.
I'm contemplating soft play so I can get out and ignore the housework, Aless.

He's had the same teats from when he was a newborn, and never refused them other than this last few days.
And that was my main concern GISI. I don't want to change food and it just being a growth spurt but if it is, i would have thought he would have wanted more milk and not tried to hold out as long as possible?:jHappily Married 12/09/09:j:jDS1 born 22/08/10 7lb 6oz:j

the next verse - D went through the same thing at a couple of stages, the trick is perseverance I'm afraid. However, we switched bottles at about 12 weeks and it made a massive difference. We switched to Mam anti colic ones (self sterilising too!) with flat teats (seems to fit better with my wee one's little mouth) and we don't have the same battles anymore (I must add that I love Mam products so I do rave about them a bit!)
...that said, this week we're fighting to get the last half of his bottle into him after he's had a break for winding but he has the cold, so we'll forgive him!0 -

I don't think we'll make it this week, but will definitely come along another Friday as it looks great! Do you go most weeks?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Yes, we normally go on a Friday - best to check before you go if you want to meet us there though, as it would be typical the one week we didn't go was the one you did

My 2nd baby was over a lb heavier but took almost exactly the same time to get out, can't say it was much worse, I did use meptid with Ed but I think it was more that I went into labour with him at midnight so I was shattered as I progressed but Chris was a mid day delivery so I'd had a decent nights sleep.I think it is.Gosh, GISI, when I CBAed it literally means I can't be bothered to do anything - soft play is not what I call that!Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

It could still be the teats that are bothering him, I know they haven't changed but don't forget his mouth will be changing as he starts to teethe.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740
