ethelsmum, Molly's a night owl so just eats with us around 7pm. She does have a boob feed and a snack at 5ish to put her on though (in addition to lunch at 12 and normally a couple of cubes of cheese and some fruit at 3ish, my gannet girl).
In your position though I'd probably just make stuff that can be kept warm without spoiling during the week or else batch cook and reheat as needed.
Banana wise Molly is happy with it in rounds sliced off, when she was first eating it I cut the rounds into quarters so each piece was exactly a bite size.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Gill, I've alwasy just peeled it and handed it to her. Going on the basis that if she bites it, she will only bite what she can eat. MIL neatly sliced it all up for her and she choked.
Ethelsmum, if DH is home after 8pm he gets his own dinner (ie, goes hungry). Usually I will just make 2 dinners though. If you do a meal plan you can make stiff that is reheatable. Or batch cook stuff.0 -
Ethelsmum I have this problem too. I either make something which can be kept warm, so bolognese/chili/curry I make so its ready for 5, serve the kids stick it back in the oven and eat with with OH whenever, Or I make a roast on Sunday, the kids have leftovers on monday and i make us something which will have enough leftovers for the kids on Tuesday and so on.
Krystal can you explain that you will only be able to go for a short while and then go for as long as it takes caitlin to get completely cranky? I hate to see the faces of the kids whose parents havent been able to come to these things.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Also, I have no qualms about eating alone if I'm really hungry before DH gets home. He doesn't care, he's just happy to have dinner made for him.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I used to cut the skin about halfway down the banana so the bit the wanted to eat was poking up and the bit they were holding was skin so it didn't go slimy and was easy to hold
This week Hubby won't be back until 7, I tend to feed the children at 5 and do something like shepherds pie in 2 dishes so they get theirs and ours goes in the oven until later...
MM, I'm toying with that idea at the moment... That and taking a big bag of assorted snacks...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

CAFC, they are bizarre. I feel sorry for the poor lad who's modelling one on the web site. Have you thought about doing some kind of natural/alternative therapy course? You seem quite into that sort of thing.
Urgh at the weather, OH got to ride home in too.
Well the first *course* I'll be doing when DH switches job is training Gordon...
Our landlord is potentially going to open a gym, so i'm hoping in the new future i might be abe to wangle a job either in management (he's an !!!!! from elbow kinda guy - good at practical, not so good with the organisation)I'm quite variable - ovulation is anything from day 14 to 23, luteal phase 10-15 days (but usually 12-14).
Mine at best was 9 days, b12 increased it to 13 after one cycle of it, and cycle after that L was conceived.....i think our holiday helped tooWealth is not measured by currency0 -
when you say waiting what do you mean? (i know that sounds stupid
) have you made an appointment for one? Here you make your own app so maybe your MW forgot to tell you/assumed you knew who it worked.:)
At my docs they send a letter out with an appointment *big sigh* I've phoned, gone in and spoke to the receptionist and all I get is "you have to wait for the lady who does letters to make you an appointment":mad::mad: I had a section with complications so you'd think they'd make sure I'm seen!!!
I've had nothing but trouble with hospitals, doctors surgery etc etc. My notes were "lost" so I had to phone up to tell them a HV should come and see me!!
Rant over.BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Gill - I've always just given them the banana (1/2 banana) to hold and let them mush it around their chops:)
Ethelsmum, sorry I haven't any advice different to what has been said^^^
Just need to say, my daughter is a ming:eek: I have never known a child to poop so much in one go, she regularly has to have a change of clothes, however this time it was EVERYWHERE_pale_....even i had to get fully changed, after shoving her in sink full of water to clean her, and washing the sofa, where she had been sat!
Sorry for the info, but I had to tell someone and dh has taken his mum to A&E, something to do with low or high potassium levels:(
Also I have just tasted sherry for the first time, not really sure what to make of it, it is only a cheapy dry one...only got it as I need it in a recipe I am trying out.
