Sorry girls, more drama and me moaning. Amber started vomiting blood at 5am. That's us just got up to the ward. My baby was very very ill and I never want to see her like that again. Ever.

On a drip and had chest X-rays ( possible chest infection) she has a tear in her stomach/ oesophagus and is getting some medicine fir that as well as fluids. Waiting on bloods and X-ray results. Her blood sugars were so low they were unreadable and she was unresponsive. Thankfully she is a bit better looking due to drip and stuff pumped into her.

Be in for the day a d night atleast. But atleast she is getting treated not sent home.

    Poor Amber. :(:(:(

Did everyone else have Braxton Hicks in their first pregnancy?

    Nope.

Also, I quoted Hammy and it got lost. Yes, we still get up every night between 2-3am. That one night he slept through was a fluke. But he woke up at 6am this morning!! :j

    Maybe that's why I didn't have them - I wasn't capable of walking a long distance.

I won't even moan about what I was going to, as Amber is so poorly and I would sound like an insensitive, ungrateful cow:o

Moan away Mel, you are not ungrateful or insensitive and you most certainly are not a cow! *hugs*

I only went out if OH drove me apart from the odd occasion when I managed the three minute walk to the Drs Surgery. I used to make OH take me on long drives in the countryside every weekend because I was so fed up of being indoors.

  • Alice might not realise it's Tuesday as your DH was off work yesterday.....

I didn't have any braxton hicks either, although I did get crippling pain under my bump when I walked.

Tia, cant imagine how you feel hun. At least she is being treated now like you say. I hope she improves quickly and you can get her home as soon as she is better. Lots of huggies to both of you.

  • Massive hugs to tia and amber.

KK glad you are feeling better, remember we are all new at this and they don't come with instructions!

Sorry not read back that far to catch up!!

Well t has surprised m as he has dropped one of his night feeds at midnight and went from 10ish to 2, then 5 and didn't wake till 8 -just fed now and dropped back to sleep. This is a major improvement for us but still is feeding every 2 hours in the day which I don't mind so much. Going to jump in the shower while I have the chance.
