DH and I have got T's tummy bug/virus
We went to the party last night (which was fab) and then DH got really shivery when we went to bed...He ended up puking all over the bedroom floor coz he was too ill to get out of bed. I was soooo :mad::mad::mad: but also really worried coz he's never sick. I was feeding T in bed so couldnt do anything! I then had to clean it up but started feeling awful myself.
We ended up sleeping in the spare room on the sofa bed and were both sick quite a bit through the night. He was worse than me, probably because he'd had a lot to drink at the party. T was so good and went back down no problem whenever I fed him. (think it was twice but couldnt be sure! Had to cut one feed short coz I knew I was going to be sick
)
MIL and FIL came to get him this morning and they're bringing him back at 6.15 after they've had their tea. We couldn't have looked after him properly, it was awful getting up with him this morning and I just had to leave him on his mat while I was lying on the sofa.
I was :j:j:j (in my head!) when I got up at 4pm and saw the score though
(sorry Becles!)
It looks like we're going to be in the sofa bed again tonight coz there's no way I'm carrying on cleaning the sick up tonight (altho I did the worst of it last night) and DH doesnt seem inclined to do it!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

I don't think so coz we didn't eat the same stuff. Noone else seems to have been ill (other than those who had far too much to drink!!)
I was really worried that it was the dominos pizza that we had with the IL's before we went but they've been fine today thank goodness!
ETA DH is feeling much better now so is tidying up the bedroom..I'm making him answer the door to all the trick and treaters too hee hee. It's my turn to sit around feeling sorry for myself! I actually feel worse than I did this morning, but I think it's coz I had to be ok for T and then my body (and mind!) gave in when he wasn't here anymore.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

I was angry but I've calmed down again now. Enjoying the children coming to the front door and politely saying thank you for a chew or a lolly - bless them :cool:Here I go again on my own....0 -

:mad: I love my mother but she is a nutjob. She stopped me in the middle of what I was doing (which wasn't terribly important but still) to ask me to video Skype her so she could look at Molly. Fine, I dug out microphone and cam and opened Skype. My camera worked fine, she could see us, but her connection is slowed down by all the nudie ladies my brother is downloading on the sly and so we couldn't see her. Cue a half of hour of her saying, Can you see me now? and not actually interacting with the baby or talking to us. And then when she did start talking to us it was about something uproariously boring my brother had been doing and then took offence when I was not sufficiently interested.
