    If the blood comes out too slow, it clots in the bottle and can't be used. That happened to me once and I had to give more.

    Oooh that sounds nasty. As long as treatment has started while you hold the card, you will still get free care until this period of treatment has ended. It happened to me as the card ran out while I was busy getting a problem sorted out and I didn't have to pay anything.

    Beccles: thanks for the advice, I did not know that! I spoke to my doc and he basically said it's caused from T's bowels working overtime.

    Cafc: glad you actually have a decent doctor now, and what a star little L has been!

    OH is home, lovely to have bit of a break!
