*sighs*, I remember Friday lunchtime drinking...but alas it seems a long time ago. You deserve the warm fuzzy glow of it though Bruno, and you are welcome to the 5 o'clock eye drooping!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Great news about the pay rise Bruno.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
...
Was being grumpy because HMRC tell me I owe them some WTC back (not a lot, couple hundred quid) which in principle is OK but I gave them the correct info from the outset a looong time ago, nothing has changed so why can't they get it right to start with and not annoy me like this! No excuse given for their random inability to count earlier in the year.
But I now feel unable to be annoyed because my boss has just got me a really decent payrisehe has asked a few times in the last 2 years and for some reason this time they said yes. So, ha. So I can no longer begrudge the taxman their cash even slightly.
call them and tell them you gave correct info so its their fault and you want the form to fill in for it.
They over paid me after I gave them the correct info, its currently 'being investigated' (and has been for months) I think MM's case has been 'being investigated' for about 2yrs nowthey ain't getting it back!

I was going to ask that.
Someone I know has an iCandy and the carrycot looked tiny and her LO barely got to use it.
I have the Icandy apple and the carrycot is quite large on it but I can't see it lasting to 6 mths - I thought the icandy peach's carrycot was a lot smaller than the apple.
Grr, I've just sold my doppler on ebay and the woman now wants it sending to Malta. I wish people would ask before bidding. Its going to cost £10 to send it recorded so I bet she ends up not wanting it
Sir M - very sad to hear about your friend's baby, can't imagine what they are going through.
Sorry - I have read back but cant remembr any more. Best go and make a start on tea.
ETA- Hope all the poorly babies (and mummies) are feeling better soon.0 -
Thanks Sami I have just phoned doc and someone is going to phone back (I wonder if they actually will!)
£60 is carp amount!! I was looking at them 2nd hand before we bought ours new and they were cheap then, but OH wasnt keen buying 2nd hand, although I think if I have to change this I wil have to get one 2nd hand! I liked the icandy ones, although I get confused which is which LOL.0 -

I don't remeber it being a problem when we stopped using the carrycot - but I did keep it in the lie-flat position until he was older. Although heavy it was sturdy and L alway seemed comfy in it.
Hugs to all that are having bad days, sleep issues and illness.
GISI - gladd you've had anice day - you deserve it!
I completely love the pram, it is heavy as its very sturdy as you say, most of the others I tried were flimsy, but as I have a damaged coccyx I find lifting it hard. The pram insert looks so comfy and warm.. wish I could fit in it!! I think T is just exceptionally tall, he is apparently above average... funny to think I am only 5"2... LOL.
Keep forgetting to say, Sir M, that must be awful for your friend, I cannot imagine how she must be feeling. A friend of mine a couple of years ago carried her baby full term and he was stillborn, it makes me so grateful that I have T0 -
Nice one on the payrise Bruno... And if you have all the paperwork with the right figures on then I would give them a call and dispute the overpayment too...
Although they wrote to me to tell me they'd overpaid me 2 payments between swapping from a single claim to a joint claim... It was about the time Caitlyn was born and I completely forgot about it... They've never written to me again to ask for it?
And here's a bit of randomness... When Aimee was 3 we went to Twycross Zoo for a day out and I bought her a Wild Republic monkey to put up for christmas... Well about 6 months after christmas it's head fell off while she was at my Mum's... My Mum sewed it back on again (backwards) and it's been fine, but last week it's head fell off again... I emailed Wild Republic this morning to see if they did a fixing service or anything, they rang me up straight away and after a couple of calls, they're sending her out a brand new monkey! Not bad for service heyA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
