Hi everyone, sorry not been on much has been a stressful few days with little Thomas. It seems that he doesn't want to sleep in the afternoon or evenings, he was awake yesterday pretty much from 2pm until 1am when in desperation I took him for a spin in the car (he had a few very short naps). I think the same thing will happen today, he sleeps fine in the morning but in the afternoon - no chance then because he is overtired he won't settle on an evening. He is yawning, put him in his moving chair for a nap and is squirming about, trying not to engage him and hope he will nod himself off. Any tips to get babies (about 2 months) to sleep will be grateful and will try to catch up with what everyone else is doing, if I get him to sleep!!

Will he go to sleep on you, I know it's not ideal, but he is still young....I sometimes still have to get T to sleep on me then I can put her down, she is quite a clingy baby.....or else I just leave her to scream herself to sleep! TBH it depends on how tired I am, how busy I am, whether I think anything else it bothering her.......sorry if that isn't much help:o

    well done Molly!!!!

RMAC what size is A? We have problems with E as she is rather chubby so shoes can be a nightmare! we were actually laughing at her this morning as she was trying to jump and he has it to a T although her feet dont lift off the ground!

She has small feet - she's just managed to get into a 4. She alkso has narrow feet too, but appears to hve high instep, which is causing the problems with the slippers. I got lovely peppa pig slipper socks for £3 in Next. I'm not really into characters, but she's a little obsessed at the moment :rotfl:

It's my cooking clss tonight. Just text hubby for him to 'remember' and 'realise' he's 2 hours away :( Class starts in 1 hour. Now this is how I know I'm working hard at things ;) I haven't hit the roof - I know it was genuine, nothing he can do, I have the ingredients and recipes here so I'll just do them here this week :D on the plus side, he can jolly well earn my good mood and do the washing up!

I totally didn't buy a pair of Peppa Pig slipper socks in poundland on Friday... Honest...

Caitlyn has a high instep too, makes it difficult to get her converse on... She's only a tiny 3 still at the moment...

Well done Molly for the independance :D

And I hope all the ear infections clear up very quickly!!

I made a loaf in my new breadmaker, it was lovely :) Aimee thought it was very springy lol... Should be easy enough to put it on every night for a fresh loaf in the morning... Although it might mean me having to get up and slice for the lunchboxes... Hubby couldn't cut straight with a laser guide :rotfl:
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Mel, totally agree with the sleeping on mummy thing. Madam sleeps like a log on me, then I've got to carefully wriggle her off her me. So not ideal, like you say, but she really isn't one for naps either.

CAFC, I'm not happy you were right iykwim, but really pleased you've seen someone and are on the right track now.

    SS :T for miss Molly!

Hope poorly babies are feeling better soon.

    :heart2:Sophie May:heart2:
