Thanks Dt, he's had so many over the years we just sit it out. Even he knows now that the relief comes when it bursts. Thought he would have grown out of it by now.

  • Hi everyone, sorry not been on much has been a stressful few days with little Thomas. It seems that he doesn't want to sleep in the afternoon or evenings, he was awake yesterday pretty much from 2pm until 1am when in desperation I took him for a spin in the car (he had a few very short naps). I think the same thing will happen today, he sleeps fine in the morning but in the afternoon - no chance then because he is overtired he won't settle on an evening. He is yawning, put him in his moving chair for a nap and is squirming about, trying not to engage him and hope he will nod himself off. Any tips to get babies (about 2 months) to sleep will be grateful and will try to catch up with what everyone else is doing, if I get him to sleep!!
Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

    WELL DONE MOLLY!!!

Im having such a bad bad day, my hair was coming out heaps yesterday and again today, my scalp had thinned out a lot but recently it was looking better, and now it looks worse than ever, and to add to that my scalp is itchy and inflamed? I really think some cheap nasty value shampoo I used at my mums set off the itching, as my body was itchy where it had ran down my back in the shower too.

*sigh* my hair needs a cut too but I really need all the hair I have, maybe Ill just trim it a bit myself, because I can't bear for anyone to be telling me that I have seriously bad hair thinning *SOB*

Chris has the purple dyson too :D

SirM what happens when you leave him in his moses/cot? does he cry? do you let him cry at all?
I'm not one for leaving babies crying in the CC/CIO way but Ed would cry for literally 2mins then just sleep. It was like someone flipped a switch.

can you think do you put him down in the morning differently to afternoon?
