I don't have a squirrelly PM?
kitkat - I think the best thing (and I'm a relative tax credits novice myself) is to fill out the forms as instructed and then as soon as your paperwork comes through, phone them up to give them your revised figures for 09/10. Else phone the helpline right now and ask what you should do.
GISI - still thinking of you this evening. Also, thanks for the hints a while back about lentil loaf. I made up a recipe today and Finn actually ate a respectable amount. Didn't taste half bad either- though a bit dry...wonder if it needs some sort of sauce or dip? Hmmm.
Mel - you need some hugs too :grouphug:top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Sounds like a plan, how many darlo builders are there
Lets hope I don't see my ex  or worse, his mother :rotfl:
Just got in from a loooooooong lunch with a friend, she's beside herself because the "friend" who emailed her husband vile lies about her having an affair is trying to stage a coup and steal all her other friendsI however have let it be known that I am beyond all cliques and unpleasantness and either like people or I don't. I have, therefore, not received any invitations to the "be my friend not her friend" parties and events that Vile Liar Frenemy is sending out.

My ex did that
All his family and friends think I just dumped him for no reason as I wanted to be on my own with the boys. His parents were quite shocked when I explained I was divorcing him for adultary as they had no idea he picking up people off the net for sex.
They don't know about the mental abuse. My family don't know about that either
He also went and got his hair cut at my hairdressers and told her that I did nothing with the boys and it was him who had to get up and do all the night feeds. That was pretty amazing of him considering the boys had nowt but fresh breast milk for the first few months!hammyhunter wrote: »
Which leads me on to my very un-MSE post of, I now want to buy him something car-ish to play with. Any ideas on what would be suitable for him. He will be 1 next month. Thanks x
Charlotte got one of these for her first birthday:

She was fascinated by the cars going down the ramps and she's had hours of play out of it. She still plays with it now. Best to put a box or something a foot or so away from the end ramp as the cars come out really fast and shoot under the furniturekitkat5566 wrote: »

*hugs* sounds like a tough day. Can you chill out when they're all in bed?
I got quietly angry in the school yard this evening. I overheard two ladies talking behind and one was saying she had been signed off sick all this week and she managed to get the doctor to write a note for next week too. The other one asked what was wrong and she said nothing really, she just fancied some time off. She said she'd been out the other day and ordered a dining table, then she'd been for a coffee and cakes with another friend this afternoon. She said she needs time off just to chill but she didn't want to use her holiday so she went sick as she gets full sick pay. I thought that was disgusting
I think it narked me more as I could have done with some time off to get over this cold/fluey bug I've had, but I don't get any money if I'm sick so I've had to work through it which has taken it's toll on me
Charlotte made pumpkin pie today at nursery and came out proudly holding a slice. I asked if I could try it and she said I was only allowed a very small bite :rotfl: It wasn't that nice to be honest, but she liked it and had scoffed it before we got out of the school gates. Here I go again on my own....0 -

I need to go to Primark next week and I'm debating between Wigan and Manchester. I'm arranging to meet a friend so I need to make a decision in the next day or two. Wigan would be my preference ideally as I've never tackled the city centre with a baby in tow!
Has anyone been to the Primark in Wigan? Is it a good size or is it teeny? I'm going to be looking for either a plain coloured adult babygro or military style stuff for me fancy dress costume next week!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
I had a squirelly PM talking about the squirrel dispersing their nuts today, but not the actual nut allocation?
