Took me since 4pm to catch up! Forgot loads now. :rotfl:

    Well done Aless. :j

Something about a crocodile from this morning?

    Hi Wilma!!!

Spending Review, as with the child benefit, I see why they are reforming Tax Credit threshold but again the fairness is not right. A single parent trying to work 16hrs and better themselves is hard enough, but to try and do 24 will be tough where as a couple with one doing just 16 is wrong, and they should be made to work more. In that case I don't think 24 is enough. *waits to be battered!*

And poor Wayne Rooney thinks he isn't getting paid enough, well booger off to Spain then, friggen plonker!

I totally agree with you Tara, so we can be battered together.

I work 24 hours a week, and OH works full time but because we both work shifts it works well for us (and we have lovely helpful mummies who pretty much take it in turns to have H once every other week).

:T :T for gorgeous pictures earlier

Grrr at Becles' mum, oh well at least you got some free tights? *eyeroll*

Brain has forgotten everything else, sorry :o. Oo-er, I remember Mel is going to tell us her news tomorrow. :D You promised, Mel!!

:j For Mel's news. I hope Mel shares it early or else the Hampshire builders won't be around to hear it since we will be at a building conference at the only soft play place in the world that doesn't have a website! Henry and I are very exciting to be meeting Izzy (again), Lily and the S man!

I can't remember much else :o. Work was one disaster after another with everything breaking down. I was so glad to come home, but I did have a sneaky two hours to myself  while MIL had H. I had a peaceful lunch on my own then did a bit of browsing. MIL also bought me the Jamie's 30 Minute Meals book :j from the Book People.

Tara- I thought of you and Maddy tonight as H is wearing a fleecey sleepsuit for the first time. He looks cosy, although the 12-18 month ones are a bit long in the leg.

    :j Apprentice tonight!

  • Evening all. Is everyone ok tonight. All good here, just waiting for the garlic dough balls (SS they are the approved food ones, will give you a review soon!) to cook, then I can eat something.

Had a manic day today, but all over now :)

    Well done Kian!

I also forgot to say how lovely all the pics have been today.

I am not a fan of the giant sleepsuits, although I did buy a sexy pair of fleecey PJ bottoms today. Perfect for lounging around in!

Shopping gurus- please can someone help me find something I have been looking for for ages. It's like a planner/journal type thing with different sections for meal plans, to do lists etc and jazzy post it notes you can use too. Thank you muchly.

It's cow & gate banana flavour and Heinz apple and oat. He's mainly had the cow & gate one tho. MIL got us an organix banana flavour one so I might check that out.
I think its the Heniz that have gluten, you might want to check as it can cause flare ups in eczma. SIL gave me the banana one as her LO used to get flare ups from it.

Ever with her reasoning comments :o:), probably Susan. But you still would try to avoid it if your LO was 6 months too? Wouldnt you?

Weaning is very simple at the moment- ive been sticking to one meal around 5-6 to help her sleep longer and it seems to have worked. Her favourite things are carrots and porridge (obv not together!), she isnt fond of baby rice. Ive found that she finds it more difficult to "process" vegetables so ive cut them out until shes ready, just sticking to fruit and porridge. The only problem I am having is that she wasnt indicating when she was full so I am now giving her very small spoonfuls to slow her eating down and she seems to start staring into space when shes had enough.
Oh, forgot I had a question about shop bought jars- how much would you give in one sitting? Half?

    YAY for Kian!

I am off to make a super sexy hot water bottle and put on extra layers for bed - Husband is a lucky man indeed :rotfl:

Ladybird I would very much appreciate a dough balls review, thank you :)

Enjoy the builders' conference ladies - if none of you have internet on your phones you might be in for a long wait :rotfl:

  • SS they are yummy. They didn't look like they had risen very far, but we carried on and yum! Definitely nicer when left for a little for the butter to soak in :)
