Hi bratz! Don't let weight put you off wearing what you want to wear! Your outfit today sounds lovely (esp the Primark dress) and if you're wanting to try new styles and so on, hit the charity shops for some cheap new stuff. I think most of us on here are slight charity shopaholics.

    Outfit today is:

Red cardi - Matalan (wish they still made these, it's absolutely ancient but still in great condition)
Green 3/4 sleeved top - Dorothy Perkins
Black pencil skirt with brightly coloured city scenes on - blog sale
    Black tights - M&S
Red Mary Janes - Dorothy Perkins sale, only £7!
And a mixture of real and faux pearl jewellery

    Hi,

Welcome bratz - your outfit sounds lovely.

Wearing a leopard pint tunic, skinny jeans and black knee high boots (which are amazingly snowproof - good old Clarks!).

Way too much snow here in Glasgow - fed up with it now. Hoping to make it to Milton Keynes tomorrow for a weekend with my auntie and uncle. Fingers crossed!

    xx

aw thanks for the welcome guys!
I did nothing the charity shop theme running through the thread lol

I have ordered a dress off ebay for £3.99 inc p&p. Not ordered, won, what am I talking about?! And bidding on a beautiful blue cardigan also so fingers crossed!

I will have to check out charity shops in my area, but want an idea of what will suit me first maybe and what I feel comfortable in, before I spend real money on it. Would also love to have more experience/help/ability to make my own clothes. I've made old trousers into a skirt and am making a skirt from green velvet material but would love to know how to make other things too

  • hey ladies (and gent), thanks for the waves.

Been to BTT at gym after work, ouchy but need to work off the weight I'm gained, feel miserable and want to get back into my clothes :( since getting engaged on holiday I just lost the plot and let my healthy eating really slide, plus OH works nights 3 or 4 nights a week and I don't like being on my own so I end up comfort eating but anyway I'm getting back on track, but it seems to take longer to come off than it does to go on :\

No real fashion to report, have been dressing for the weather rather than the style, and as someone said to me the other day a warm person never looks silly, so I'm holding on to that!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

  • Started off in usual uniform at work, home and dressing down! Wearing primark leopard print fleece pyjama bottoms and a black long tee with silver studs on the arms, from tesco, oh the glamour lol!!
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:

    morning all :)
Slipped on my backside on the way into work kinda grumpy :( we've had no real snow here, just very very cold and the pavements are like sheets of ice. I prefer snow tbh.

Ok, on the menu today is:
boyfriend cut jeans with turnups - next
black vest - I think Dunnes
purple v neck jumper - la redoute
red and grey slightly shrunk boyfriend cardigan - matalan. Not as long as it used to be now :(
purple coat with belt - Debenhams
white converse with cat prints - no idea.

Also decided since I can't put mascara on today (loaded with cold and my eyes are streaming) that I'd wear slightly dangly ear-rings I bought in Paris instead to cheer me up :)
