Hello ladies - and gentleman!
Had to take a break from MSE thanks to creepy cyberstalker type person (even worse it was someone I knew) so this is my new alter ego. Will have to change the profile pic at some time too I suppose. Any way, enough of serious stuff.
How is everyone? I haven't even really had time to lurk, (doing a bit of writing/reviewing in my down time) although I've popped into some of your blogs now and again - Goan, hope you manage to get away to your sunny paradise, and Alex, how clever are you, those beaded baubles are just stunning.
Snow is so bad here that we're now measuring it in feet! Haven't seen postie since Thursday - am wondering if he's buried under the two foot pile of snow outside the front door that fell off the roof.
Am currently well rugged up in fleecy DKNY gaucho-style cropped pants, purple H&M a-line jumper dress and ancient lilac UGGS that are only fit for outside. Will be changing into orange wellies, jeans, said jumper, leopard print fake fur coat and black cloche hat to do some shopping - really need to do food shopping. Doesn't match but warmth is all!
Must trot now as husband (let's call him George, in keeping with the new name) has brought me a bacon sandwich and cup of tea. Stay warm peeps.0 -
^ Hello you
enjoy your bacon sandwich!

Evening!
The snow is so bad up here in not so sunny Scotland. We're talking waist high in places and another 20-30cm is predicted for tonight. No buses, trains or car (roads are barely being gritted) and its impossible and unsafe to walk. Cabin fever is well and truly setting in!!
My outfit today consisted of a paint splattered grey T and ripped jeans. Sounds revolting but I was painting the livingroom!
So the livingroom is painted, the tree has been put up, my front path has been cleared (for now) and gritted and I attempted to dig out my car. No joke - I could only see the registration plate.
I used to like the snow but now its plain annoying!!
On a plus point, I just won a 6v ride along Thomas the Tank for my LO's Christmas for less that half the retail price. Very happy!!Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -

Hello all!!
Hoping no-one will mind if I join in?? You all seem so friendly and like a real group of friends!!
I would LOVE to be fashionable/trendy/cool whatever but am so totally not. Am too fat for a start, and too 'cute' to get away with some of the things I'd like to wear
Usually end up in jeans and t-shirts but trying to be more adventurous and less boring with my clothes, without spending too much on new stuff.
So today I'm wearing
skinny jeans - new look.
grey marl long sleeve button front t shirt - la redoute
blue and white 'anchor' dress with braces and pockets - primark
grey ugg style ankle boots - primark
purple slightly scruffy looking zip up hoody - I think next but had it for years
pentagram pendant - pagan dreams
commitment ring
Feeling very scruffy despite putting more effort than usual into this cos I got my hair cut on Saturday and hate it, so scraped it back in a ponytail and tried to gel the stupid fringe over to the side but overdid the gel and it just looks dirty nowcarpe diem
