An incorrect part of an order you have made does not constitute unsolicited goods. It's highly unlikely that the company sent out 100kg of dog food in the hope that the person buying cat food would pay for it. It's a plain mistake, and certainly isn't covered under this legislation.
I don't see the difference, it was not ordered so it's unsolicited.
Having said that, I personally would phone or email the company and suggest they pick it up within 7 days at a time convenient to the OP. If they didn't then I would consider it a gift.0 -

You still have to comply with Law relating to them.
Even if you consider them to be Unsolicited Goods, unless you contact the company and request their collection, they do not become your property for 6 months.
If you contact the company and they do not collect within 30 days, they become yours.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

No, the order was place, the order got incorrectly filled - the order is not unsolicited.
Even if you don't agree, you must agree that it's best to err on the side of caution to alleviate the chance of further problems?0 -

We will have to disagree then.0
