Can't believe people are still using zonealarm, it used to be good but not for a long time.

to be honest the latest version of zonealarm appears to have improved a lot compared to the old versions, however the same as with AVG, a vast improvement in their latest version is still hard to swallow after years of inadequacy
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

Zonealarm isn't recommended still. Of the free firewalls Comodo is the best, even of the paid for firewalls, though obviously busenbust doesn't like them for some reason. http://www.matousec.com/projects/proactive-security-challenge/results.php

I would trust windows firewall at home but not on my laptop/netbook.

What do you mean? Who doesn't recommend it (and would they recommend against it)?

Surely comodo can't be held responsible for what a re-seller does? Isn't that like blaming Microsoft because you got ripped off on ebay for one of their OS's? Obviously I've not go all the deatils so could be wrong.

The reseller was 'owned' by Comodo. It's all heresy now as I've lost the direct link. But it was visible also on the official MS support forums. I won't touch it with a 500ft barge pole! :rotfl::rotfl::o

Well be that as it may it doesn't mean the firewall itself is bad.

True, perhaps it's just me then -- but it's not for me. ;) Anyhow, I stressed my concerns in my original post (below):

I will never use Comodo as I've said before here .
